A bit about me

I'm Jeff

Hey there

I am a Nature and Landscape Photographer based in the beautiful Victorian High Country Australia. I moved from the city in 2017 with my family to escape the chaos and noise and find greater purpose and meaning in life.
And we haven't looked back ever since...

After spending 8 years in the FInancial Services climbing the corporate ladder, I realised that chasing money and status was never going to make me truly happy.

Growing up I always had a pencil in my hand. I loved to draw. There were no computers back then. I continued my love of art in school and studied graphic design after completing secondary school.

When I graduated I struggled to find work in a very competetive industry. During this time I was offered an opportunity to work for a financial services company whilst I continued looking for work in graphic design.
However the alure of the corporate world had a tight hold on me and the possibilities in this industry were too tempting.

It ended up taking 8 years for me to see that the path I had chosen was not for me. I didn't know what I wanted to do but all I did know was it wasn't this.

MY STORY

MY photography journey

Whilst I have owned a camera in various forms for as long as I can remember, I say my photography journey really started when we left the city and moved to the high country.

The high country opened my eyes to nature in ways I'd never experienced or seen before. Without the chaos, noise and idstractions of city life I was finally able to see the beauty in nature.

In the first few months of transitioning into country life, I spent every waking hour I had spare researching and learning everything there was to learn about photography. My love of art and creativity was back in a big way and my desire to be out with my camera and learn everything there was about photography was all I could think about.

My greatest lessons came from my failures. I failed more times than you can imagine but kept getting up every morning and learning from these experiences.
Most of what I know today has been learned from my failures.

MY photography journey

Whilst I have owned a camera in various forms for as long as I can remember, I would say my photography journey really started when we left the city and moved to the high country.

The high country opened my eyes to nature in ways I'd never experienced or seen before. Without the chaos, noise and distractions of city life I was finally able to see the true beauty in nature.

In the first few months of transitioning into country life, I spent every waking hour I had spare researching and learning everything there was to know about photography. My love of art and creativity was back in a big way and my desire to be out with my camera and learn as much as I could was all I could think about.

My greatest lessons came from my failures. I failed more times than you can imagine but kept getting up every morning and learning from these experiences. Most of what I know today has been learned from my failures.

My passion for photography and love of the Victorian High Country led me to running workshops.

I wanted to provide a seamless learning experience for other passionate photographers and show them everything I have learned as well as what works and what doesn't work.

My learning framework allows people to cut through all the noise on Youtube and social media and learn only what you need to know so you can get straight into the fun stuff... getting
